ORIGANUM MAJORANA
DESCRIPTION
Said to be grown by the goddess Aphrodite herself, marjoram is a sweet, aromatic herb with a warm, slightly sharp, and somewhat bitter flavour profile. Marjoram can be combined with other herbs to create a French herbes de Provence sachet for braises and stews, sprinkled onto vegetable dishes, or made into a tea. When used in parsimony, they make a wonderful addition to your ceviche's or carppacio's.

HERB CARE
Marjoram can be harvested any time after the plant has developed a good number of leaves. Pinch off and use leaves as you need them.
Don’t remove more than two-thirds of the leaves at once.
Once the first leaves appear, pick out the largest plant, remove the others by hand, or cut them at the base with small scissors. (thinning) See the grow guide for more information.
