ANETHUM GRAVEOLENS

DESCRIPTION

Dill has wide, feathery leaves and flat flower clusters on dark blue-green stalks. Dill has a strong, distinctive taste that is like a combination of fennel, anise and celery, with warm, slightly bitter undertones. The leaves are a great addition to sauces, salads and omelettes.

REGION OF ORIGIN

MEDITERRANEAN AND SOUTHERN RUSSIA

HERB CARE

  • Pinch or cut off a few of the feathery leaves close to the stalk as soon as the leaves develop.
  • With light harvesting, the plant will continue to grow. There is no need to thin the Dill, so just let all the little sprouts grow.
  • Once dill produces seeds and dies back, the plant will not grow anymore.
