PLANT CARE

  • You can start harvesting the lettuce when the leaves reach full maturity. The lettuce head can be cut off at the base whole, or you can remove single leaves for a sandwich or salad.
  • The lettuce will regrow from the base up to three times, but the leaves will be smaller after each harvest. Make sure to harvest the leaves before it starts developing flowers, or it will grow bitter.
  • Once the first leaves appear, pick out the largest plant, remove the others by hand, or cut them at the base with small scissors. (thinning) See the grow guide for more information.
